Professors Celebrate Recent Publications

William "Chip" Eveland, Andrew Hayes and Silvia Knobloch-Westerwick recently had their research work published in these communication journals.  

• "Beyond deliberation: New directions for the study of informal political conversation from a communication perspective" by Eveland, A.C. Morey and M.J. Hutchens was published in the Journal of Communication.
• "Comparing general and political discussion networks within voluntary organizations using social network analysis," by Eveland and S.B. Kleinman was published online Dec. 10, 2011 in Political Behavior.
• "Stimulating the quasi-statistical organ: Fear of social isolation motivates the quest for knowledge of the opinion climate," was published by Hayes and Eveland in Communication Research.

• "A Losing Battle: Effects of Prolonged Exposure to Thin-Ideal Images on Dieting and Body Satisfaction," by Knobloch-Westerwick and Josselyn Crane, was published in Communication Research.
