Within a broad array of offerings in the CAP area, three thematic clusters are highlighted to provide students some direction in developing a focal interest. However, students are not restricted to courses within a single thematic cluster. Instead they are encouraged to choose courses from within and between thematic clusters to fit career goals.

CAP students are strongly encouraged to work in close consultation with the undergraduate advisor while choosing electives from the thematic clusters.
